There are 3 Approach to study geography
1. Spatial Approach (Spatial)
Spatial analysis is a typical approach in geography as a study of the diversity of Earth space by studying each spatial aspects. Aspects of earth covering factor space location, natural conditions, and socio-cultural conditions of the society. In reviewing these aspects, a geographer very concerned about the location factor, distribution (distribution), interrelation and interaction. One example of such a spatial approach is a piece of land which are expensive because of the fertile soil, and is located on a side street. In this example, the first is to assess land based agricultural productivity, while the second assesses the land based on the value space is a strategic location.
2. Ecology Approach (Environment)
Environmental approach is based on one principle in the disciplines of biology, namely prominent interrelation between the living and the environment. In the geography of environmental analysis examines the interaction of symptoms, and the interrelation between physical components (natural) with non-physical (social). Ecological approach to the analysis by looking at changes in biotic components and abiotic in the balance of the ecosystem of the region. For example, an abandoned pasture by grazing herd will result in changes in land, and the inhabitants competition.
3. Regional Approach (Complex Regional)
Complex analysis comparing the various regions region on earth with due respect to spatial, and environment of each region in a comprehensive manner. For example, the polar regions of very different characteristics equatorial region by region
